Welcome Back Rocklin Academy Gateway Families!

The Parent School Partnership (PSP) is excited to have you with us for the 2024-2025
school year. We would like to introduce to you our current PSP Board and
Representatives. Please welcome the following members to the 2024-2025 PSP team

Let’s partner together for the 2024-2025 school year!
As a charter school, the partnership between parents and the school is crucial! Every
single student and family member is a part of this partnership, and we ask that you find
at least one way to partner with us this year! Below are some ways you can get
involved.
Become a PSP Board Member or Representative:
Before we can plan and host all the fun family events this year, we need to build our
PSP Board and Representatives. We have many continuing board members, but we still
need to fill some important positions. We are currently in need of a Treasurer to join our
board and welcome anyone who would like to be added to our team of representatives.
If you are interested in working with a group of dynamic, dedicated parents on the PSP
for the 2024-2025 school year, please send any questions to GatewayPSP@rafos.org.
We look forward to hearing from you!

Annual Giving Campaign:
A quick way to help partner with us is to donate to the Annual Giving Campaign (AGC)
and create a peer-to-peer fundraising page for your student(s)! The AGC is our main
fundraiser for our school. All funds raised through the AGC help fund our school
enrichment programs such as Art Docent and our library hubs, social events and school
beautification.
More info can be found here.

Committee Lead or Member:
If you cannot dedicate a large amount of time but could help at a certain singular event,
we would love for you to join our Event Representatives as a committee lead or
member. Such events include the International Festival, Trunk or Treat, school dances,
family social events, and more. The only way we can continue to hold these fun events
is if we acquire enough volunteers.

Donate to the School Auction:
Each year the PSP holds an annual school auction to help support our AGC fund. If you
own a local or personal business and would like to donate auction items or services, we
would greatly appreciate it.

Classroom Helpers:
Each TK-6 classroom requires a Room Parent and Art Docent parent volunteer. Room
Parents provide general classroom support and plans and hold fun class parties and
events. Art Docents teach art to their children’s class once a month and is supported by
our Art Docent program with supplies and lesson plans. TK and Kindergarten will also need Music Docents to help introduce music to our youngest gators!

Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat 2023

The PSP would like to thank everyone who helped make this year’s Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat a great success. It was amazing to see so many families enjoying themselves at this fun annual event. Thank you to those who contributed to the AGC (which without those funds events like these would not be possible), those who volunteered their time to run the event, families and classes who decorated the most awesome trunks and tables, those who donated candy and treats, and to our gracious community sponsors. We couldn’t have done it without you all.
Votes from Trunk or Treat for the best trunk and table have been tallied. You all did so great, and we loved seeing all the creativity and hard work put in. The winners are below.
